Hermex Travels – Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between you ("User", "Customer") and Hermex Travels ("Hermex", "we", "our", "us") and apply to all services provided through our platforms, including but not limited to flights, hotels, tours, and other travel-related bookings.

By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. General Conditions

  • Hermex Travels acts as an intermediary between the customer and third-party service providers (e.g., airlines, hotels, tour operators).
  • You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided is accurate and complete.
  • All communications will be made via the email or phone number provided at booking.

2. Flight Bookings

  • All flight bookings are subject to availability and the terms of the respective airline.
  • Hermex is not responsible for changes, delays, or cancellations made by the airline.
  • Flight bookings are confirmed only upon full payment.
  • If payment is not made within 30 minutes of booking, the reservation will be automatically cancelled.
  • Flight prices are subject to change without prior notice until full payment is completed.

3. Changes to Flight Details

  • Airlines may change flight times or routes. We will notify you of significant changes.
  • If changes are made by the airline, you may be eligible for rebooking or a refund under the airline's policy.
  • Name changes may not be allowed by most airlines. If permitted, a fee may apply.
  • Date or route changes are subject to availability and fees set by the airline.

4. Flight Refund and Cancellation Policy

  • Refund eligibility depends on the fare conditions of the airline ticket.
  • Non-refundable tickets are not eligible for a refund unless the airline cancels the flight.
  • Refunds (if applicable) may take 7–21 business days after approval.
  • Hermex charges a processing fee for cancellations and refunds (excluding airline fees).
  • No-show passengers are not eligible for refunds or changes.

5. Hotel Bookings

  • Hotel bookings are subject to availability and the terms of the hotel provider.
  • Check-in and check-out times are set by the hotel.
  • Most hotels require a valid ID and a deposit at check-in.
  • Cancellation and refund terms vary by hotel. Please review before confirming.

6. Tour Bookings

  • Tours are subject to availability and weather conditions.
  • A minimum number of participants may be required for some tours.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the tour may not be refunded.
  • Hermex is not responsible for injuries, loss, or delays during third-party tour activities.

7. Pricing and Fees

  • All prices shown include applicable taxes, markups, and service fees unless stated otherwise.
  • A markup of 3% and a transaction fee of 3% apply to all bookings.
  • Currency conversion rates may apply for international payments.

8. Payment Terms

  • Payments must be made through approved Hermex payment gateways.
  • Bookings are only confirmed upon successful payment.
  • Partial payments or delayed payments may result in cancellation.

9. Travel Requirements and Documents

  • You are responsible for ensuring you have valid passports, visas, and other travel documents.
  • Hermex is not responsible for denied boarding or entry due to documentation issues.
  • Some countries may require proof of vaccination or health checks.

10. Liability and Disclaimers

  • Hermex is not liable for service failures by third-party providers (airlines, hotels, etc.).
  • We are not liable for flight delays or cancellations.
  • We are not liable for lost or stolen property during travel.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service access.

11. Data Protection and Privacy

  • We collect and process your personal data in accordance with our [Privacy Policy].
  • Your information may be shared with third parties (e.g., airlines, hotels) for booking purposes.
  • You consent to receiving transactional and promotional communications from Hermex.

12. Dispute Resolution

  • Any dispute shall be resolved through negotiation and, if unresolved, submitted to arbitration in Nigeria.
  • These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Nigeria.

13. Modifications to Terms

  • Hermex may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes means you accept the new terms.
  • It is your responsibility to review the Terms periodically.
